So saddened by the news of Ron passing. We had some fun, happy times in school but did not keep in touch nearly enough after. I loved seeing him at some of the reunions. May his family be blessed and reassured that he is in heaven having a good time with all.

Ron was always an upbeat classmate and friend. I am shocked about his passing...I had no idea he was battling the big C. My condolences to the family.

Ron and I stayed in touch over the years. He would call me from work or I would call him on my way home. We would laugh a lot. We talked about how much we enjoyed our pets and how much they meant to us. His dogs and my cats. We had a great time when we went to lunch with Bonnie and Bob at our reunion.

Ron was a friend of my youth,  gym class and double dating, football games and sockhops. We answered the big questions of the time, like "who does she like"? High school youth turned into college, weddings, and children born after we had done all we could do for the situation. I remember the birth of Ron's 1st son. His wife went thru 23 hours of hard labor. When it was over he said to me, "Do you know hard that was on me"? Well, different views on each problem.

I was lucky to be in contact with Ron thru these last few months. It started with melanoma and unfortunately spread.  Cancer is not our friend. We talked and emailed up to the end. When I knew Ron was not up to talking or emailing I wrote a long letter about or time and sent to his son. I had no idea just how close Ron was to the 3rd out in the 9th. I hope his boy was able to read my thoughts to him.

Denny Young stayed close as did Dee Lindhoff. We tried to keep each other in the loop. Denny acted as the point guard when Ron could not respond to our numerous questions by talking with his son. When I reflect Ron was a good person to know and a most loyal friend. We are loosing too many but I guess that's the time of life we find our selves in. But no matter what, the memories remain so good. So Via Con Dias my old friend. Say hello to all those I hope you meet again. Save me a spot near the cute ones

We sure will miss Ron.  We had fun in high school and a great time at our 50th reunion.  Ron was one of those friends who if you didn't see or talk to him for ages, you could just pick up where you left off the next time you saw him and it would seem like you hadn't missed any time.  You will always be remembered by me and all of your friends and family.  Be at peace my friend.
