My contact with Walker was through my brother, Drew. HIs older brother, Lee was my brother's best friend. Lee told me that when Walker was in the hospital after the motorcycle accident he would sit by his bed and plead with him to hold on and he said that all of a sudden he felt Walker saying to him, "Lee I can't" and died shortly thereafter. It was such a sad story and I will never forget it. Lee was devasted after Walker died. Lee had been almost a second older brother to me.
