Another great pal and one of the "Forest Boys".  I remember driving into the country one summer day, Roger bought us the beer 'cause he looked and sounded older, and we learned how to really enjoy an afternoon. I miss you pal.

Roger lived at the end of Cherry Street near the Catholic church, I lived on the other end.  I had the biggest crush on him.  We both worked at Handicamp at the elementary school near the swimming pool.  We would take the kids there.  One of the kids Roger had once was a 16 year old who had been taken after finding him tied to the foot of his bed.  Richard never went to school or had any common social skills.  When we took the kids to the pool one day, Richard got out of the locker room naked and started running around the pool.  Poor Roger had a hell of a time catching up with Richard, but he handled it really well.  Rioger was always special to me and still think of him often.  The day before I got married I saw him at the plaza and he walked me home.  He kissed me goodbye.
