I’m so sorry for the loss of Sarah, we had such a good time after the reunion. Marti & Mike Edwards & Carol Kyle had made reservations to go to Second  City, Pat & Arnie & myself. Sarah decided to join us. Time goes by so fast after a certain age, so appreciate each other everyday. Bless you Sarah, will keep you in my prayers.

Sarah was always mellow and laid back . We sat together in English Comp and she laughed at my jokes . I lost track of her after several decades . Did Sarah leave behind any kids or husband ?  Classy Lady .

I'm sorry to hear about Sarah Filler. My happiest years in school were the 2 years my dad was stationed at 5th Army Headquaters in Chicago and we lived in Park Forest. I attended Rich East for my sophomore and junior years. Sarah Filler was my best friend.; then her family moved away. We wrote to each other often, but we eventually lost touch after mulitple moves. I'll always remember her as  the sweetest  woman I've ever known. There was not a mean or catty bone in her body.

As I grow older (as we all do) it seems that memories flood back which were long ago forgotten.  One such memory was when Sara and I were briefly dating and we were headed to the Mall to pick out some formal things for her Installation Ceremony, as the Queen of the Women's Lodge she served in.  As we drove down Sauk Trail my father just happened to be driving the opposite way and saw me driving.  It was a sad day indeed as he took my license away.  I was driving because Sara preferred that I drive her rather the she drive me.  I was Sad and rather Embarressed! This was due to the fact that I was an experienced Go-Kart racer, (winning a number of Final Championship races).  SO, we prepared to go anyway!  I actually was forbidden from driving at all through High School so this would have been an "opportunity lost" to look real Kool and and have fun.  However, the Happy Ending was that the Ceremony was Awesome and we had a good time.  I appologize for the delequent timing, it should have been told some years ago.  Sara was such a class act and I would believe she remained so until she passed.
